new music, the sound of spotonwater... the goodlife residency mixes....... new choons - 4 mixes 31/01/09 dj 1210: the" goodlife" residency - Clear Newcastle saturdays.... Si Greatorex a.k.a. dj sneak; back at Southampton University 1991 and now dj 1210; living up on the Tyne with his wonderful family is a legend! 
Despite living 350 miles away he has only missed two spotonwater/spotonnutta events and to be fair those two events weren't worth doing without him. 37 parties later, 9 years on, his sound is our sound and if you have ever wondered where we get all our mad choons from he is the premium source. Right now Si is in the process of digitizing his entire vinyl collection, by his calculations if he does 14 choons a day he will be up to date in two and a half years time - good luck. Si returned to the wheels of steel after a 5 year break, to dj at my first large event; the infamous Roadworks rave at Bashley Park in March 1998 - a four room, 21 dj monster of a debut, with a colossal 780 paying hedonists. He was responsible for the two Red Bull parties we organized on Avon Beach in 1999 and 2000; that saw 1500 party gurus following their mobiles, to the never to be repeated free party beach party of the year. That night Si dj'ed for a mammoth 8 hours inside the Red Bull Land Rover, only to be briefly covered by myself. His sound is our sound, from the legendary Manor (R.I.P), to the Show Bar, to Docklands Excel Si, has been there for me and the crew. Now due to the wonders of the internet we can share his gift with you. Each month we will put up a selection of mixes for you to download, enjoy and spread the word. Remember his name; DJ 1210 because he is the best DJ you have never heard of and I am sure at some point his skill, choon selection, passion and persona will win through and one day he will headline an event of true magnitude. 
This month's choons dj 1210 - si wants me to thank everyone accessing the downloads especially the UK brigade and for all our US friends this is what House is all about.... We are delighted by the response particularly from down under... more downloads to come - si is abroad at the mo...
